All
these items are handmade in South Africa. They are larger and
heavier than basic silver pendants, This is because of their
designes as well as there are two layers of silver. The top
layer is hand pierced to show the pattern. The back layer is
plain sterling silver and in between the sandwich is a layer
of real giraffe hair. The effect of hard and soft products of
nature is dramatic. Each item has a slight curve to it as well.

Pierced
Lion Head pendant
Each pendant
is an original with this pierced lion design from the top
layer of silver, revealing the black image of giraffe hair.
Matte brushed finish with some shiny parts. Perfect with any
silver chain or leather cord. 1.5" x 1.25" (3.5
x 3cm). Over 1/8" thick because the hair has to be sandwiched
between two layers of silver. Smooth solid silver back with
jeweler's mark and sterling silver mark.

New
version of the white rhino head done this time in just one
layer with black enamel instead of giraffe hair. Makes for
a much lighter weight, but still noticeable size at
approx 1.5" x 1" (4 x 2.4cm). 6.5 gm of sterling
silver.

This
leopard head (Or is it a cheetah?) is nicely framed in a circular
fomr that is slightly curved. He stands out from the black
giraffe hair background. Perfect with any silver chain or
